On the 441st day of Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip, 77 Palestinian civilians lost their lives, and 174 were injured and transported to hospitals in the past 24 hours. Dr. Fadel Naim from Baptist Hospital: “We, as healthcare teams, haven’t slept and have been working tirelessly due to the relentless attacks targeting overcrowded homes where displaced families have sought refuge. Baptist Hospital is overwhelmed with victims—entire families—some deceased, others injured, filling every corner. We have no space for new cases.” Dr. Naim highlighted the tragic situation in the hospital, emphasizing that civilians have been desperately waiting for a ceasefire, hoping for safety that never came: “Injuries are catastrophic, requiring vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic specialists, and anesthetists. However, due to critical shortages in supplies, we are forced to achieve the impossible with what little we have.”
